 Textbook List

The North American Division coordinates the review and recommendation of secondary textbooks. The list of approved secondary textbooks is developed through peer review by current classroom teachers. For additional textbook information, please see the NAD’s education website.

To apply for approval of an alternate textbook that is not on the NAD approved list, please fill out the Alternate Textbook Form.

Standards

Performance standards describe what students who attend Seventh-day Adventist schools in the Southern Union should know, understand and be able to do as a result of their schooling.  Click on the links below to access secondary standards. They have also been embedded for easy access in the 4MATION program, the preferred web-based lesson planning tool for Southern Union educators. To access the 4MATION program, go to www.4mationweb.com/4mationweb.  At Login Username type in your teacher email address; for the Password type in sdaedge. Teachers are to use the above mentioned standards to plan instruction and to select appropriate resources for delivering GREAT education.
